Midnight Riot is the edgy duo brought to life by soulful rocker Emily Kopp and guitarist/producer Justin Beckler. Drawing from their love of pop and old school indie rock, their creations feature good old-fashioned guitar riffs, room-shaking stomps and claps, and hooks that sink so deep you’ll be humming them for weeks. They may even leave a little grit between your teeth.
Ma Baker
If you've heard it, you know it: the spine-climbing ache of a howl alternating with a recoiling growl that seems to knock your heart to the ground and Baker's eyes into a witch's trance. It's the stuff of revivalist snake dances or moonlit strange fruit, depending on the side of the mood you've wandered into. You can never be too sure, Nor can Baker.
Jamie Lono
A powerhouse vocalist and dynamic songwriter, Jamie Lono taught himself to sing in the backseat of his car at 19 years old, after his family was displaced by a fire. It eventually led to a career traveling the country, playing his soulful pop-rock in venues ranging from arenas to coffee shops. His sound is influenced by classic rock and iconic songwriters.
